whatareyoureadingwedWhat Are You Reading Wednesdays #WAYRW is a weekly feature on It’s A Reading Thing. It’s fairly straight forward. Just answer a few simple questions about the book you are currently reading and the post it. If you use the image above, please make sure you link it back to It’s A Reading Thing.

How to participate:
Grab the book you are currently reading and answer three questions:

Toto's Tale and True Chronicles of Oz

1. What’s the name of your current read?

Toto’s Tale and True Chronicle of Oz by Sylvia Patience

2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a couple of sentences.

I’d been creeping closer to sniff the interesting fishy odor of the stork. When she spread her wings, which were almost as wide as Uncle Henry’s barn, I jumped back. She leaped into the air and glided across the water. Circling around over Jack, she grasped one of his arms in that fierce-looking beak, flapped her enormous wings, and lifted him into the air.

Everyone cheered. I barked, “Arf!” The stork flew toward us, Jack dangling from her beak. She flew over, dropped him into our midst, circled around again, and land.

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

It’s the land of Oz! Of course I would love to at least visit it, if not live there.
