What Are You Reading Wednesday #55: Brew or Die

whatareyoureadingwedWhat Are You Reading Wednesdays #WAYRW is a weekly feature on It’s A Reading Thing. It’s fairly straight forward. Just answer a few simple questions about the book you are currently reading and the post it. If you use the image above, please make sure you link it back to It’s A Reading Thing.

How to participate:
Grab the book you are currently reading and answer three questions:

1. What’s the name of your current read?

Brew or Die by Caroline Fardig

2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a couple of sentences.

Rolling his eyes, he said, “Fine. Last year at about this time, it was batshit crazy up in here. Josie was in charge of hiring the stylists. She screwed up the call time, so we all got here an hour later than we should have. There was no way to have the models ready on time.” He nodded toward Kacey Albright. “That overwrought hot mess over there was in charge of the models, and when the expo started and Mrs. L didn’t see any of them out and about, she came gunning for Kacey. Mrs. L wouldn’t listen to her excuses about the stylists arriving late and damn near fired her on the spot.”

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

This book is portrayed in a fictional version of Nashville, TN.  I grew up in Clarksville (just down the road) and I have spent my entire life wanting to move back.  So yes, I would love to live in the area.  However, Juliet seems to always find herself in crazy predicaments.  I don’t think I would enjoy living in her version of this world.  It would be too chaotic and full of too many deaths for my taste.
