The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, post a recap for the week before, showcase books and things we have received, etc.
I have been a bit quiet on here for the past two months. I got really busy during the final weeks of my semester last year. Between a long term substitute position and being an overloaded grad student, I couldn’t keep up with my blog for a few weeks. I spent most of my winter break just trying to catch up, but I know I have a ton to catch up on. It is my hope to start participating on the weekly posts I used to do. But we’ll see how quickly I pull each of those back.
I have been trying to raise money for my trip to Zimbabwe. I have never been one of those people who felt comfortable asking for money, so I decided I would try to earn it. I have been making jewelry and selling it to pay for my trip. I’ve only been trying to sell for a few weeks now, but I’ve already raised several hundred dollars towards my once in a lifetime trip. I just pushed past my 40% mark, but I still have a long way to go. I will just keep working towards that goal!
I will be eventually posting links to my pieces on here or at least on my notepad blog. But here’s a peak of some of my favorite pieces so far:
I hope you all are having a great weekend and that you have a great week!

Oh nice! These pieces are really pretty! Wishing you luck on making your goal!
Nice new reads too! I LOVED A Darkness Absolute! Of course it is Kelley Armstrong and I pretty much love all her books! Hope you enjoy all the new reads!

Thanks! I’m glad you like them. I had more ARCs, but I figured I’d do a few this week and a few next week.
Welcome back! I think your jewelry is beautiful! I would definitely promote it on your blog to help your fundraising sales. I’m sure several bloggers would share on their social media.
Aw! Thanks! I’ll probably do that. I just need to set up an etsy and then I can sell online too.
Enjoy your books 🙂
