I only received two new books this week. I’m still struggling to find time to read and have stayed away from adding new books to my hold list. The good thing about these bookshots books, is that they are only about 150 pages long. So it only takes about an hour to knock one out. The bad thing is… so far I have not liked any of them. I’m offended that other authors are allowing James Patterson to slap his pretentious name all over their work. And honestly, those books would have been better had they been real books and not these novellas. Or at least that’s the case with one of the books I’m reviewing later on today.
Anyways, hopefully in two weeks, I’ll be knocking out a ton of books. But for the moment, I’m struggling to make it through a couple of short ones. So many books, so little time…
Here’s what I checked out this week:
- The Trial by James Patterson
- Little Black Dress by Emily Raymond
What did you pick up from the library this week? Or what are you planning on putting on hold? Leave me a comment and let me know!
Interesting. I’m currently finishing ‘Saturday’ by McEwan and afterwards I’ll start ‘The Bell Jar’ by Plath, that was recommended by a fellow blogger. Thanks for the ideas…
