Checking Out the Library

Checking Out the Library

It’s a light week for checking out library books. But I’m okay with that. I’ve been making some headway on my checkouts and I’m trying to keep away from that “light at the end of the tunnel” syndrome. You know what I’m talking about. That moment when you realize your book list is dwindling down and you fear the thought of running out. So for now, I’m keeping away from my library’s site until I truly get my list down. So far, I only have one more book on my hold list and it’s another of James Patterson’s Book Shots.

Well, I’m not going to lie, I’m having a hard time staying away from the Patterson books. Besides, it’s going to take a few weeks to get the Alex Cross book, so I really want to see if I like Patterson-lite versus his constantly recycled 400+ chapters of half crappy plot lines and pointless, dull relationship woes. But we will see!

Here’s what I checked out this week:

What did you pick up from the library this week? Or what are you planning on putting on hold? Leave me a comment and let me know!
