What Are You Reading Wednesday #40: Strangers Among Us

whatareyoureadingwedWhat Are You Reading Wednesdays #WAYRW is a weekly feature on It’s A Reading Thing. It’s fairly straight forward. Just answer a few simple questions about the book you are currently reading and the post it. If you use the image above, please make sure you link it back to It’s A Reading Thing.

How to participate:
Grab the book you are currently reading and answer three questions:

Strangers Among Us

1. What’s the name of your current read?

Strangers Among Us by Various Authors

2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a couple of sentences.

To triumph, as in these stories, despite that terrible solitude. Or…because of it.

As with any encounter, there’s the chance you’ll meet a stranger here who proves familiar; maybe someone you already know. Maybe yourself.

If you do, toss away experience and expectation. Ignore the differences. Dismiss pity and any preconception of weakness.

Instead see the potential. Feel the passion.

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

Since there are several kinds of worlds represented in this book, it’s really difficult to say yes or no. Which is why my sentences above come from the introduction, as opposed to just one of the many stories that are in this book.
