And Even More Library Loot

My son and I returned to the library on Saturday and I made sure to raid the children’s section for books. I don’t know if I’ll be teaching next fall or if I am, what grade it’ll be, but at least I want to start getting prepared. With them having $1 bag day, we scored a ton of books and comics for just a few dollars. I also made it a point to get some great looking books and classics. My son even managed to find a few more comics for himself, but also a ton for his friends. So overall it was a successful book sale! Here’s what I got (minus some of the books I got for teaching:

  • 1984 by George Orwell
  • Dear America: A Civil War Union Soldier by Jim Murphy
  • A Little House Chapter Book: Laura’s Ma by Laura Ingalls Wilder
  • A Little House Chapter Book: Little House Friends by Laura Ingalls Wilder

  • Harriet the Spy by Louise Fitzhugh

  • On The Banks of Plum Creek by Laura Ingalls Wilder
  • Little House on the Prairie by Laura Ingalls Wilder
  • Dear America: West to a Land of Plenty by Jim Murphy
