That’s what I’ve been doing a lot lately: taking it up with God.

Like: God, WTF?

Spared from the Eye so I could kill the Crucifix Soldier. Saved from the Silencer so my leg could get infected, making every step a journey over hell’s highway. Kept me going until the blizzard came in for two solid days, trapping me in this waist-high drift so I could die of hypothermia under a gloriously blue sky.

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

In a world where an alien force is trying to wipe out humanity? No way. Then again, I must say, I’m really skeptical that things are what they seem. For one, the 3rd Wave could have been a result of the 2nd Wave. After a tsunami, it’s not uncommon for disease to run rampant. Especially if the world has lost all of their technical advances. I don’t know… something about this book isn’t setting right with me. I don’t know if conceptually something is wrong or if I’m picking up on something that will be revealed later on.
