2016 Horror Reading Challenge – January Update

2016 Horror Reading Challenge

The 2016 Horror Reading Challenge is hosted by Tracy @ Cornerfolds and Stormi @ Books, Movies, Reviews! Oh My!

I was iffy about this challenge. As much as I love horror, I don’t think I read a ton of horror books. But as I was going through books from the last few years, I realized I read a lot more than I thought. I suppose this is one of those situations where I don’t consider a book horror, but it’s actually labelled as being part of the horror genre. Also, with my attempt to reread certain series from my childhood, I’m reading a ton of horror genre books, that I don’t necessarily view as Horror. So to remedy this, I’m only considering one Fear Street a month as being part of this challenge. I know that sounds silly, but some of the books are more thriller than horror. So I’d feel more comfortable under representing how much I’ve read, than over. But each of these updates will include a list of all of the books I’ve read, just to give you an idea of how quickly my list can get inflated.

The Vampire Lestat   Led Astray

New Rules   Teen Frakenstein

172 Hours on the Moon   Wolfen

Fear Street

First Date   The Knife

The Confession   Bad Dreams

Killer's Kiss   Broken Hearts

Secret Admirer   The Prom Queen

The Dead Lifeguard

All covers are linked to the review.

Current Level: 6-10 Horror
