If you are looking for something hot and I mean HOT to read this winter, you have to go check out this book. I’m not a prude, but I typically don’t read a ton of erotica because too often the author does nothing but write sex scene after sex scene and that’s it. So why am I so adamant about recommending this book? Because it’s not only written well, but the sex scenes include more than just a description of what’s happening. The author is smart by including their thoughts and observations of one another. Hell, even moments of doubt are present and thus, it makes it realistic.

As I was reading this book, I was actually intrigued by the lead up to Catch and Lana finally giving in to one another. It was also interesting to see Station Six’s polar appearances. When Lana first arrives, there is a review team on the Station Six, so no obvious hanky panky was happening in front of Lana. But once they leave, the gloves are off and it was interesting to see which rumors were true and which weren’t. After all, had all the rumors would have been true (and I do mean for everyone attending, not just those looking for it), then this book would have served to be just another erotica story. Instead, their relationship builds throughout the story and it’s not until they both can let down their walls, that the two find they are in deeper than they even realized.

At the core of the story, this is a wonderful tale of two people who aren’t completely comfortable in their own skin. They learn to find their comfort through their experiences with one another. Not everything is fully explained, so there are still things to be curious about. For example, there’s brief moments about what happened with Lana when she was younger, and her brother mentions the basics of it, but the story is still waiting to be revealed. As for Catch, he’s still clearly troubled by things that happened during his time with Docker and the author promises there’s still more for Lana to learn about those two.

It’s hard to explain the aspects of the story I enjoyed without spoiling what happens in the book. What I an tell you is this is probably the most enjoyable piece of erotica I have ever read. Maybe it’s just me being lucky to find a book more on par with what I do and don’t want to see in a book. Either way, this is a must read in my book and I hope that if you like erotica, you’ll take the time to check it out. Because, I can’t wait to read the next book and see exactly what else will be revealed.
