What Are You Reading Wednesdays #WAYRW is a weekly feature on It’s A Reading Thing. It’s fairly straight forward. Just answer a few simple questions about the book you are currently reading and the post it. If you use the image above, please make sure you link it back to It’s A Reading Thing.
How to participate:
Grab the book you are currently reading and answer three questions:
1. What’s the name of your current read?
All the Colours by Lo-Arna Green
2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a couple of sentences.
So much colour; coursing through our veins, shooting out of our fingers in little sparks. Jack is colour, and the colour is everywhere.
Yellow for joy, warmth, the energy between us.
White for hope, light, purity.
Pink for romance, beauty, love.
Red for passion.
Love. Bright. Wonderful. Addictive.
3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?
I’m only about 15% into the story, but I have to admit I don’t envy Jazz’s life. First her sister disappears after a car accident and then her junkie mother disappears. The poor girl is just trying to find a safe place to adjust to all the loss in her life, but her cousin is determined to make her life a living hell. I’m sure there’s more in store for Jazz and I look forward to finding out what it is. But I wouldn’t want to live her life.
