As a book reviewer, you always hope that there is someone out there who is going to want to read your reviews. Since I’m not exactly the funniest review or even the kind who rants all the time, I don’t expect any of my reviews to go viral and of course, none have or probably ever will. However, over the past few months, I’ve been surprised to find one of my reviews constantly being looked at, on a daily basis. What astounds me is the review in question: Truth or Die by James Patterson and Howard Roughan
Seeing as James Patterson is one of the most read authors worldwide, I’m not surprised one of his books is one of the most searched. However, this particular book wasn’t really that good. In fact, while it had potential, it was pretty bad. That’s to say nothing of my average review of said book. If you had told me that one of Patterson’s books would be my viewed reviews, I would have assumed it to be an Alex Cross novel or even Zoo, since that premiered on NBC this year. But low and behold, it’s some random one shot book that I didn’t like. And truth be told, I don’t get it. Why are so many people looking up this book?
This may seem like a weird question to ask, but it’s the second most viewed thing on my site. First being, my homepage. It has over three times as many views as the next top review on this site. So please, if you know why this is such a big search item online, clue me in. Because my curiosity is killing me, why are you guys so interested in this particular review?
Anyways, thank you for everyone who has visited my blog this past year and for those of you who are return visitors and fellow bookworms/bloggers/reviewers. I look forward to seeing which review will be on top next year. Hopefully, it’ll be a better book and better review than this one.
