Trailer: Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them

fantasticbeastsposterIt has been nearly four and a half years since Harry Potter fans made their way to the theaters to see Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2. But after years of withdrawal, the world in which a young boy named Harry Potter lived, is once again opening up for fans everywhere. I’ll admit, I went all fan girl when I saw they had finally released the trailer for Fantastic Beasts And Where to Find Them.

But I’ll admit, I’m not overly dialed into the fandom, so I had no clue what the book was going to be about. According to IMDB here’s the synopsis:

The adventures of writer Newt Scamander in New York’s secret community of witches and wizards seventy years before Harry Potter reads his book in school.

I actually really enjoy the prospect of seeing a movie set in the same world, but decades before Harry Potter. That’s the thing about the world J.K. Rowling built, it’s so phenomenal, we as fans will take every bit we can get. I was also excited to learn it is going to be a trilogy. My last movie series ended this past November with the release of Mocking Jay Part 2, so I am more than happy to make this my new series to look forward to each year. I can only hope it proves to be as good (if not better) than the original series.

So now I’m curious, who else will be heading to the theater next November to check out this new trilogy???
