25 Days of Christmas #21: Holiday Travel

I wish I could travel for the holidays. You know, as a kid, I always dreamed about being able to go to Hawaii or the Bahamas for Christmas. But as an adult, truth is, I just want to go home for the holidays. I don’t care that it won’t be a Hallmark Christmas. Sure there may be arguments or problems, but it’s home. My son and I typically spend the holidays by ourselves with our cats. Sure, it’s nice. But I would love to go home and see my grandmother and my eldest son. Unfortunately, that’s not an option for this year. But hopefully, next year.

Do you travel for the holidays?

  1. I hope you can make it next year! I will be travelling to Tennessee right after Christmas to visit my folks for a few days. I try to take my girls to visit their grandparents as often as we can mange, but it’s a little over 600 miles so we can’t do it as often as I would like.
