Checking Out the Library

Checking Out the LibraryAs the end of the year nears, I find my hold list at the library is slowly shrinking. As of right now, I have a total of five holds left. But I don’t have an issue with this. For one, let’s face it, my TBR list is out of control, so I won’t have any trouble finding books to request. Of course, there’s also my childhood rereads, the books in my house that I’ve never read or need to reread and of course, ARCs and author review requests. I am not one who has a shortage of books at their disposal. Actually, it’s kind of nice to know things will simmer down, but then I couldn’t figure out what to do for this weekly meme. In the past, I’ve skipped a week if I didn’t have anything to pick up. But I think I’m going to switch it up and highlight the books I have from the library and plan on reading for the week or which ever book I’m currently reading if that’s the case. I don’t know, but I’ll figure it out.

Especially since I did have some things come in this week. Not a ton. Just three more Buffy comics, two books and two dvds.

  • The Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Expery (to help finish some of my final reading challenges. Also featured in this week’s To Be Read Thursday meme!)
  • The 5th Wave Rick Yancey
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer: I Wish by Joss Whedon
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer: New Rules by Joss Whedom
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Love Dares You by Joss Whedon
  • The Age of Adaline (DVD)
  • Furious 7 (DVD)

What did you pick up from the library this week? Or what are you planning on putting on hold? Leave me a comment and let me know!
