It’s another light week at the library. For the first time, I turned in as many books as I picked up. I can’t even tell you the last time this happened.
This week’s loot is:
- Winter by Marissa Meyer
- The Murder House by James Patterson & David Ellis
Now, I’ll admit. I’m a bit nervous about the books I picked up. Both are new (or in the case of The Murder House, new-ish) books, so there are still people waiting on the hold list for them. But the two week time limit isn’t what has me nervous. It’s the page count. Winter has 823 pages and The Murder House has 589 pages. That’s a ton of pages to try and get through this weekend. And yes, I do plan on trying to get through these books this weekend. Next week’s reading schedule will be about getting through some more author requests and ARCs. Wish me luck!
What did you pick up from the library this week? Or what are you planning on putting on hold? Leave me a comment and let me know!
Whoa, Those are long books! I think I could get through one of those on a weekend, but not two. I generally read three books a week, each being around 400 pages. So I can read about 1200 pages per week. Good luck to you!
Thanks! It’s a shame when you read 50 pages in a book and its only 6%. I’m just going to break them up as I do my housework and other stuff this weekend. 😀
Good luck! I hope Winter is worth it. I’ve just ordered Scarlet.
Can’t wait to hear what you think of Winter – I’ve got to pick that one up but the size is a bit overwhelming!
