For the most part, I’ve stayed true to my promise to lay off putting things on hold at the library. In the wake of ARC-palooza last month, I’m really behind on my library books. Granted, I’ve been actively putting any of the Buffy comics on hold when I start getting low, but I don’t really count that as they take about thirty minutes to get through.
This week’s loot is:
- Party Games by R.L. Stine
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Freefall by Joss Whedon
- The Walking Dead: Invasion by Robert Kirkman
- Poltergeist (DVD)
- Finding Nemo (DVD)
I would definitely like to be able to keep my library books dwindling for the time being. Because when I say I’m overloaded with library books, I’m not kidding. Here are the books I still need to get to:
- Step on a Crack by James Patterson
- Private London by James Patterson
- The Silence of the Lambs by Thomas Harris
- Waiting to Be Heard by Amanda Knox
- Maximum Ride by James Patterson (reread)
- Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Last Gleaming by Joss Whedon
- Marvel’s The Arms of the Octopus by Mike Costa
- The Superior Spider-man Annual by Christos Gage
- 172 Hours on the Moon by Johan Harstad
- The Scarlet Letter Society by Mary T. McCarthy
- Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder by Joanne Fluke
- The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood
- Sweet Valley Confidential by Francine Pascal
- Little Women by Louisa May Alcott
- Don’t Stay Up Late by R.L. Stine
- Eeny Meeny by M.J. Arlidge
- The Isle of the Lost by Melissa de la Cruz
- Under the Dome by Stephen King
- The Vampire Lestat by Anne Rice
That’s not even including all of the books I have checked out for my son. Clearly I need to start making a dent in these checkouts and thank goodness my library doesn’t do fines. Plus being able to renew up to twenty times helps, as well.
What did you pick up from the library this week? Or what are you planning on putting on hold? Leave me a comment and let me know!
