What Are You Reading Wednesday #7: See Me

whatareyoureadingwedWhat Are You Reading Wednesdays #WAYRW is a weekly feature on It’s A Reading Thing. It’s fairly straight forward. Just answer a few simple questions about the book you are currently reading and the post it. If you use the image above, please make sure you link it back to It’s A Reading Thing.

How to participate:
Grab the book you are currently reading and answer three questions:

See Me1. What’s the name of your current read?

See Me by Nicholas Sparks

2. Go to page 34 in your book or 34% in your eBook and share a couple of sentences.

They did. They did it again. And again and again, repeating the movement over and over as Lily counted from one to eight, and then a dozen more times, and then gradually speeding up, and then continuing without counting. They took a break, then started slowly from the beginning, gradually speeding up again. Once he felt he was getting the hand of it, Lily stopped and watched as Colin continued. “That’s perfect,” she said, nodding. “You have the right steps now, but the real key to this is not to be so bouncy. Right now, you’re moving like a ruffian marching slowly through a swamp. You want to be smoother, like a blossom slowly beginning to open. Keep your shoulders at the same height throughout the steps.

3. Would you like to live in the world that exists within your book? Why or why not?

Since Nicholas Sparks’s books have no sense of fantasy or paranormal in them (only romantic fantasy), it’s set in modern day North Carolina. Which I use to live in and would love to go back to.

  1. I have yet to read anything by Nicholas Sparks – I’m going to have to pick up one of his books and give it a try! Here’s my WAYRW post this week.

    • Don’t pick up this one first. It’s a little different from his usual works and actually nearly 500 pages, when most of his books are 300+? If you want a few choices to choose from, I’d suggest The Lucky One, Safe Haven or The Best of Me. Those are a good mix of the drama/romance combination that he offers.

  2. My favorites of his are A Bend in the Road (good mystery) and The Notebook (of course). I have The Wedding and never finished but really want to.
