The Sunday Post is a weekly meme hosted at Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a chance to share news, post a recap for the week before, showcase books and things we have received, etc.
I’ve been reviewing books on Goodreads for years and over the past year, I’ve been slowly (extremely slow) adding my old reviews to this blog. Now that I’ve been able to get several of my older posts on there and have been actively posting new reviews over the year, I feel as if it’s time to really commit myself to blogging. Especially since I enjoy doing it so much and I really enjoy connecting with fellow bookworms. So please feel free to leave your links for your Sunday Post in the comments below, because I look forward to seeing them!
All book covers are linked to my personal review of the book or it’s Goodreads or Amazon page.
I had a pretty productive week this week and it was nice to be able to clear some more books off of my To Read list. Of course, some of these books have intrigued me enough to add more books to the list… so it may be a double edge sword. But what can I say? I love my series.
These are the books I’m hoping to get through this week. Since I have so many on my to read list, I feel it’s best to be optimistic and have a plan for what I want to read next. Of course, my plans may change depending on my mood or if I get an ARC that needs to be done before one of the others. But I feel this is a decent enough goal for the week.
Since school is back in session and my new work schedule is so crazy, I’ve really cut back by how often I go to the library. Not because I’m not eager to pick up everything I’ve put on hold. On the contrary, I want to make sure I have enough time to get around to reading/watching everything before someone else puts it on hold and I have to yet again, return a book I haven’t read… More on Checking Out the Library
I’ve applied for a few ARCs in the past, but never got approved. Last weekend, I decided to head over to Netgalley and try my luck by applying for anything that caught my eye. This may have been a mistake.. as I got approved for eighteen books. The good news, it’s helped me branch out and find new authors to read. The bad news is, I already had nineteen books checked out from my local library. Oh well. Here’s to finding new books! Listed below are the books that will be released this month or in the next few months:
I don’t purchase books often. However, in order to cover the cost of any new books I do decide to get, I do a lot of surveys and save up my amazon giftcards. After reading the fifth book in a series, I enjoyed it well enough to purchase the rest of the series. Plus I am continuing my collection of books from my childhood. So here are my new books for the week:
