Checking Out the Library

wpid-img_20150912_104732_243.jpgSince school is back in session and my new work schedule is so crazy, I’ve really cut back by how often I go to the library. Not because I’m not eager to pick up everything I’ve put on hold. On the contrary, I want to make sure I have enough time to get around to reading/watching everything before someone else puts it on hold and I have to yet again, return a book I haven’t read.

This week happens to be a light week for me. For one, I still have nineteen books checked out. Plus, some of the books I’ve been interested in reading are being read by others and I have to wait my turn like a good little bookworm.

However, as I ventured out into the rain to head to the library, I admit I was amused by how this week’s book seem to share a common thread. It seems secrets and keeping silent is the theme this week. It certainly was enough to make me chuckle.

Anyways, the weekend is underway and I’ve managed to finish the first book on my list. I don’t have any high hopes about finishing all four books, as I have been spending time working here on my blog and also spending time with my son. But I am glad to have some free time on my hands. After all, this blogging thing can quickly become to feel like a burden if it begins to feel like I have to do it.

About Kristine

As an aspiring author, avid bookworm, fitness fanatic and dedicated mother, there just aren't enough hours in the day. I write or post about things I'm passionate about and spend my time trying to make the most of every day. Life may be a tough journey, but I have my ruby red slippers and am content on skipping along this yellow brick road until the end of the line.
