30 Day Challenge: Day 3

Push UpI won’t deny that I was fairly frustrated yesterday when I wasn’t able to do my run for the day. Yes, I could have cheated and hopped on my elliptical or stationary bicycle to make up the difference, but for me, I find running to be a better workout. I have never been a particularly strong runner, but there’s just something about turning on your iPod and running outdoors that is just peaceful.

Needless to say, I was more than determined to make up for yesterday’s missed run and despite having donated this morning, I am proud to say I achieved my goal. I even added in some bicycle crunches and weight training to today’s challenge. I guess for me, the hardest part is sit ups. I know there’s a lot of debate over whether or not sit ups are good for your neck and back, but I am hoping I will be able to do all of the sit ups each day in one sitting. However, if I have to break them up like I will eventually have to do with the squats, I will.
